Ahh, how fitting that we start off this list with one of the most delusional people on the Internet. He runs a blog dedicated to hating on 1 person, The Irate Gamer(don't worry I'll get to him later). Unfortunately for him that's not even the saddest part, Some of the crap he complains about is just pure BS and hypocritical.

Lets dissect a few of his posts on IG shall we?(don't worry I will be as unbiased as I can, unlike him)

My favorite; his post about IG's Super Smash Bros. Brawl review.

"You know, I used to hate Super Smash Bros. Brawl." one sentence in and we already know how bias he will be.

"Easy, it was popular and lavishly praising the game would get him views." How dare this Internet reviewer review popular games to get views grrr.

 As IG opens his review of Super Smash Bros "mee-lay"
"It’s “May-Lay”, you’re pronouncing it wrong!" How dare he pronounce a game differently then I do. What's next BatDan, you call him out for saying catsup instead of ketchup?

Now as IG goes on about the clone characters in Melee and how Brawl took care of the problem....
"NO IT DOESN’T! If anything it’s worse! Other than a different final smash, Ganondorf is still the same as Captain Falcon, Fox now has TWO clones with Falco and Wolf, Ness now has Lucas, and Young Link has been replaced with Toon Link and is still very similar to Link!"
Wow I doubt Batdan even played Brawl. He mentioned hating it earlier, so more then likely he rented it, played a few matches(not unlocking any of the characters he mentioned as "clones") and returned it. If, like myself, you've atleast completed the game, you could easily identify the huge differences in gameplay between the characters.
Ganondorf for example, is the exact opposite of Falcon. Ganon is slow and heavy, while Falcon is fast and light.
Ness is more offensive while Lucas is more defensive.
Fox and Falco are completely different. Fox is fast, while Falco is the high jumper. Falco also throws his reflector while fox doesn't. and Falco's blaster stuns opponents while Fox's doesn't.

Immediately following that load from BatdanNight night he follows it up with the most ironic comment; "the lack of research is worse than usual" No seriously, he says that after complaining about how Brawl still has clone characters. My god.....there's just no words to describe how ironic that line is.

Next from BatDanNight;
"He mentions how they got rid of “the duplicates” (as in the only 3 he mentioned), then Mewtwo, which he calls “not a big loss”. First off, fuck you. Mewtwo is awesome. Second, Mewtwo is technically still in Brawl, only his abilities transferred to Lucario. Then Roy, who he says was replaced by Ike. When he says his name he shows a picture of Ike from South Park. I know others have done this joke, yet somehow Bores completely failed with it. Lack of comic timing? Poor reaction? It’s up to you.

Yeah no bias there huh? Now in Melee; Mewtwo was my favorite character, but unlike this unprofessional prick, I'm not going to go apeshit because IG bashed my favorite character. anyway, again obvious Batdan didn't even beat the game, because when I played as Lucario I immediately noticed a difference between him and Mewtwo. The biggest being that Lucario's ability that makes it so the more damage he gets, the more he dishes out. He's also a bit heavier then Mewtwo. Now with Bores' Ike joke, I'll pick C. "I'm so bias that none of his jokes are funny." Or atleast that what Batdan chose.

BatDanNight:
"He brings up “huge milestones” which to him means the addition of Sonic the Hedgehog. “Nintendo and Sega together? Holy shit! Talk about world’s colliding!” This isn’t the first time it happened. Are you forgetting that one game you talked about? The one you called a piece of shit even though your only issue was that you sucked at the game? That one about the Olympics… ring a bell?"

yeah because there wasn't a huge outcry or anything for Sonic to be in the next Smash bros game, right? Now the game he is referring to is IG's review of Mario & Sonic @ Olympic Games. Lets see were the controls an issue with the game.......Yes they were. But again; I am focusing on BatDanNight, I'll cover Irate Gamer another time.

BatDanNight:
"He briefly mentions Snake (kind of obvious he’s never played Metal Gear Solid) and that the two have their own levels.

“Having these two extra characters around is pretty cool” You mean Bowser and ROB? Because that’s what the footage is showing"

 

I didn't realize that you can tell when somone didn't play a game series just by the few words the use to mention the main character. and yes Batdan, he means Bowser and ROB. not the 2 characters he JUST mentioned.

 

BatdanNight:

"IG mentions that he’s glad that Mr. Game & Watch is back because that’s his favorite character. You know why he said that? To make himself sound retro. I bet he doesn’t even know where he comes from. It’s really obvious when he’s faking it."

 

So the ONLY reason he can like G&W is because he wants to make himself sound retro. Maybe he actually does like the character. If you played the game for more then five minutes you'd know how fun G&W was in both games. I like him too; I guess that means I'm just a wannabe retro gamer too huh?

After IG goes over how he enjoyed Kid Icarus/Pit being in the game;
BatdanNight:
"His name isn’t Kid Icarus, it’s Pit! Kid Icarus was the game he was in. That would be like calling Marth “Fire Emblem” or Jigglypuff “Pokemon”. It gets worse when you remember that his name is listed below him on the select screen and the announcer says his name!"

Now is that such a huge crime? No. Kid Icarus was a very old Nintendo series, most people would only remember the character by the name of the game it was in.

BatDanNight:
"IG was worried that he would have to play with the Wii Remote + Nunchuck combo because it doesn’t work for fighting games. But is grateful when you could take out the Nunchuck and play with the remote on its side. Or you could not be an idiot and use a Gamecube controller, or the Classic controller. Not going to mention that are you?"

I guess I'm and idiot because I actually like playing it with the sideways Wii Remote. Granted IG should have brought up the GC and Classic controllers; most people got a Wii solely for Brawl. So most probably didn't have a Classic or Gamecube controller. Something bores should have brought up, but didn't have too.

BatdanNight:
"He says the graphics are “amazing” and sometimes found himself just staring at them. Sounds less like he was appreciating them and more like “ooooh I like shiny”."

What can I really say, he bashes IG for bringing up how the game looks. More immaturity from Batdan.

"IG brings up the stages. “All kinds of crazy places like castles and boats” Castles and boats? Shit man this game is insane right up there in the membrane! … So what games are those stages from? Anything? I don’t need the specific game, I’ll just accept the franchise it’s part of. No?"

Again, something he could have brought up, but he didn't have too.

 

BatdanNight:

"Then he brings up stages that “bring back that nostalgic feeling” and cites the Donkey Kong and Mario Bros. stages. Once again, Chris is trying to sound retro because he’s an obvious fraud."

 

Again more immature bashing of IG. whether he deserves or not; how does that affect the quality of his review? IT DOESN'T.

 

BatDanNight:

"IG moves onto Subspace Emissary and only says that the cut scenes look cool. Aren’t you going to bring up how the plot is like a bad fanfic?"

 

With Brawl; the whole Subspace story is pretty difficult to explain. Like most people, I assume people played it for the game play not the story.

 

BatdanNight:

“Especially when there’s four people playing” You can tell I’m having fun with this footage of me fighting three computer-controlled opponents.

“There’s really nothing bad I can say about this game” Yes, just ignore a lot of the games’ faults, it’s perfect in every way… for you to get views from the crazy Smash Bros. fanbase."

 

Yup more immature bashing of IG, what does that have to do with the review again? Oh that's right NOTHING!! Again, obvious that BatDanNight never played the game for more then five minutes. The game has flaws yeah, but very very few that aren't even worth mentioning.

 

BatdanNight:

"IG wishes to see other “Nintendo legends” like Mega Man, Simon Belmont, and Bomberman? No no no NO! Those are not Nintendo characters! Mega Man is owned by Capcom, Simon Belmont and the Castlevania series are owned by Konami, Bomberman is owned by Hudson Soft! Yes they were on the NES but that doesn’t make them “Nintendo characters”."

 

A decent enough compliant. But to be fair, Metal Gear Solid was on the NES. So I can understand the confusion Bores might have had.

 

And that's pretty much it. BatdanNight goes on about some "Captain N Teheory" he has aswell as more immature bashing Bores and pretty much complaing how IG gave the game a good review.

 

Yes, BatdanNight deffienetly deserves a place on the "Internet Hit List" Though I doubt we've heard the last of him.

Now before you people start hurling your "Irate Fanboy" insults at me, I don't care for IG. I don't hate him but I don't like him.

I understand what BatdanNight is trying to do, but he ends up falling flat on his face because of his obvious bias and immature comments towards Bores.

He's criticized IG before for deleting and blocking users who point out his flaws, well believe it or not BatdanNight has started doing the EXACT same thing.
